We’re feeling nostalgic this week you might have noticed. First skateboarding and now Hip Hop. Sorry about that.

It’s just because these then new American ways of living filled in a great part of our youth. The guys on this picture could have been us. Hanging out with a ghetto blaster, Nikes with them fat laces, caps. The only thing different from them and us is that they were in the New York Subway and we hung out in front of the Super de Boer in Baarle Nassau, watching an occasional bus going by.

By looking at this clip it looks like humanity is on direct course to be fully mutated with internet.

Hmm, maybe it’s time for me to say farwell to Facebook…

Best track ever part 26 was to honor my father. This one’s for my dear mother.

Loooooong before Peter Jackson’s blockbuster, there was only the book. Ànd there was an LP with music to that book. My mom always played that album, which hypnotized me every time I heard it. I remember my mom telling me about the story and Tolkien in a way an 11 year old boy could understand.

Sweet memories those are.
