Great line of graphics from the almighty Pentagram for the London Design Festival 2011.
I’m in Berlin (yes, again), and the place where I’m staying is the house of Joachim Schmidt, who is not only a very nice person but also quite a famous graphic designer/artist I found out. Funny thing is, he, amongst others like Daniel Eatock, will be part of the Graphic Detour exhibition in the Graphic Design Museum in Breda, which was my home town for a quite some time. The exhibition is curated by Erik Kessels (Kessels Kramer) and starts on june 11th. Go and check it out!
Nothing more, nothing less.
Crispy campaign by Petronio Associates for Pureness by Sony, a phone that only has little functions. The use of white and Helvetica is obvious, but it works for me.

Dunkin’ Donuts still looks cool, sans type. Check out designer Graham’s Unevolved Brands on tumblr, or his own site, imjustcreative.
It’s time to put Ingo Oszkinat, my ex-intern, now friend, in the spotlight.
The boy, now man, with the smallest ears in the world has grown so much since he first stepped into my office, that he really deserves some attention. Also because I’m little proud myself I was once his mentor and that I helped him with the concept for the Incubate Festival posters you see on your right ; )
Check out his new website.
Made by the guys at You Work For Them. Original stuff and it looks great.

Maybe this magazine appealed to me initially because my first and only dog was named Muff. I was 5, and I really enjoyed Chocolate Chip Muffins, and I didn’t care that it was a girly name for a male dog. Regardless, designer Ramon Coronado’s hair magazine design is rad, and methinks he should continue with it!

New favela paintings by Dutchies Jeroen Koolhas and Dre Urhahn who are rocking the Brazilian suburb murals since 2005. It sure gives some color to them…
