In my hometown Tilburg, sometimes called ‘the Aldi of Dutch cities’, something good is going on. Some serious talents are coming above ground, like it often does in places where it’s been grey for a while. Musicians, festivals, tattoo artists, graphic designers, motion designers, ilustrators, you name it, are blooming up.
The illustration couple LouLou & Tummie are a perfect example of this wave. Every piece they make is fantastic. Not only in Holland they rock the country, rumours go that they even cannot cross the Taiwan streets without shades these days.
