Quite nice: Miniature works of Thomas Doyle

Quite nice, these miniature sceneries created by artist Thomas Doyle. Why is it that a lot of people, mostly male, are so drawn to these miniature worlds? I remember going to theme park ‘The Efteling’ and spending hours at the Diorama miniature world there, glued to the windows like a cupping-glass. After visting The Efteling I allways wanted to build something similar at home with my Märklin train set with which I only could lay out an 8 form… or a 0…

    hahahah that sounds familiar glued to the diorama windows, a got the same thing with maps of city’s and google earth, I’m wondering what fascinating me so much…?
